The Best Heavy Duty Extension Cords with inline GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interruption) protection, equipped with a Milspec® triple tap outlet connector. PowerTech® GFCI's offer open neutral protection, ground neutral and built in surge protection that is required by OSHA. PowerTech® GFCI offers protection from electrical shock by interrupting the electrical circuit to a load when a fault circuit of 6mA or more is detected. All PowerTech® 20A models have a manual reset feature that requires the user to reset the GFCI unit after a trip condition and interruption of power. This manual safety feature prevents unmonitored equipment start up, which is a current OSHA requirement.
